Nokia in a release that quoted BGR.com said will start marketing Nokia 808 PureView since May 2012. Countries that have first marketing opportunity of this product are Russia and India.

Nokia 808 PureView introduced by Nokia since February 2012, at Mobile World Congress 2012 (MWC) event in Barcelona. At first launching, this product has been received two awards, that are Best Mobile Device in the MWC event and Best Imaging Innovation for 2012 from the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA).
"PureView completes Nokia imaging experience in smartphones industrial and Nokia are not going to stop here. We will continue to develop PureView for the future smartphone by developing revolution of imaging user experience," said Jo Harlow, Head of Smart Devices Nokia.
Nokia 808 PureView based on Symbian Nokia Belle equipped with 41 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and a new pixel oversampling technology. With a standard resolution (5 to 8 megapixels), this camera can zoom and capture 7 pixels information, into a single pixel to sharp image results. While in high resolution (38 megapixels), this camera is is able to capture images, zooming, reframe, crop, and resize, by exposing the details that not previously visible.
Nokia 808 PureView also features full 1080p HD video recording and playback with 4 times lossless zoom. This smartphone also is the first product that uses Nokia Rich Recording technology. This technology is able to record audio with an equivalent CD quality, which was previously only possible done by adding an external microphone.
This phone also features PureView Dolby Headphone proprietary technology, which converts stereo content into surround sound personal experience in each Nokia's headphone which equipped Dolby Digital Plus to playback 5.1-channel surround sound.
