Previously I have explained about how to move contacts on BlackBerry smartphone to Android. At this time I will give tips to backup your Android contacts. If you use Android phone, Android platform will automatically synchronize with your Google accounts. But, How if you want to change your phone to other OS?
We can backup our Android contacts by use applications. There are some application which can backup all contacts in Android devices to other media, such as SIM card or SD card. Even by an application we can backup to cloud storage such as DropBox or send our contacts as email attachment.

Backup Caretaker is also a good app to backup contacts. It alos provide facility to backup different other data like SMS and MMS. It got a free version that backup things locally on your sd card whereas a paid version that backup data on server.

Back-upping the contacts on your phone is important especially if you can see that your phone is slowly giving up on you. You should be able to have a copy of these contact numbers if you want to keep being in touch. This application will be especially useful.
