Sony Xperia Sola the "Magic Smartphone"

Newest Sony smartphone, Xperia Sola was successful draw attention with interesting features, floating touch navigation (floating touch). Even Sony claims, Sola Xperia comes with the power of magic.

"The Xperia Sola comes with the power of Sony and a sense of magic with our floating touch technology giving consumers a fun new way to browse the web," said Sean Coulson, head of Xperia marketing for Sony Mobile Australia as quoted from ITWire site.

Floating touch refers to how your phone can respond fingertip, floating on the screen, different than normal touch function. At first it was used in a Sola web browser, but Sony said will try it so floating touch also work in other applications with the updates that will be given or by a third-party developers.

Coulson also said the Xperia Sola is a suitable device for consumers who are looking for easy entertainment on smartphones. "With Xperia SmartTags out of the box and access to the latest content through the Sony Entertainment Network, Xperia Sola is perfect for consumers looking for ease of use and the best in entertainment in a smart and innovative smartphone," Mr Coulson added.

SmartTags is a NFC (Near Field Communication) physical device. Not only Xperia Sola, but all the Sony phones that support these features will be able to take advantage from SmartTags.

For the record, Sola's NFC capability not only can be used among Sony phones but also other smartphones that support NFC.
