In the manufacturing process, Boeing reportedly collaboration with Microsoft, but why the OS is Android not Windows Mobile? It seems that Boeing know the smart phone market is currently very enthusiastic to Android. I believe that big companies like Boeing have been considering this plan. Boeing will create an Android phone that has a high level of security, reportedly Android phone is designed specifically for the U.S. government.
This news was first written by the National Defense magazine, in the article titled Boeing to Jump into the Mobile Phone Business. In the article, Brian Palma, vice president of the company’s secure infrastructure group said “We are going to drive down towards a lower price point, but … not mass-market price point,” he said referring to iPhones, BlackBerries and other consumer market smartphones.
