How to Find Lost iPad/iPhone

How to find lost iPad, iPhone, iPod with Find My iPhone application.
First, you must install Find My iPhone application. To download Find My iPhone application, go to:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/find-my-iphone/id376101648?mt=8.

Then, open the iCloud (http://www.icloud.com), create an account or if you already have an account please log in to your iCloud account.

a. Go to settings.
b. Tap the iCloud iCloud
c. Tap Account and sign into iCloud.

Make sure that Find My iPad application is set in the ON position.

Then, On the Mac, Windows, or Linux PC, go to the iCloud website "www.icloud.com" and log into your iCloud account.

You will see the iCloud icon on the screen to click on Find My iPhone.

The next screen will show you all iOS devices.

Onscreen you will see a small green dot beside name of the device. If you see a green dot on your iPad-you are in luck because your gadget is being online.

Your Gadget Location

Click on the device that you want to search. it Green dots are visible is iPad or iPhone and map will show the location of your iPad and when it was last located.

Touch the icon beside name of your iPad and you will have three choices:

a. Play Sound or Send Message; Send sound code or send a message.
b. Remote Lock; Lock your gadget device
c. Remote Wipe: to delete important data in your gadget (so as not to see anyone else who holds your gadgets).

If you think someone borrow your iPad, click on the Play sound or send a message to return it immediately. You will see a dialog box to type in a message. When you finished, click Send.

After you send the message will be displayed on the iPad - wherever that is. This message is seen when the iPad is locked and displayed again when the iPad was opened. If you think your gadget been stolen and can not go back, then use the facilities Remote Lock and Remote Wipe to lock and wipe your data and ensure that your information is not read / stolen along with your iPad that lost.

How to Find iPad or iPhone if the gadget Offline?

Although iPhone was Offline, you can still contact your gadget

If in tracking your gadget find that your gadget is Offline position or power off, then you can still do a few things bellow:

a. Play Sound or Send Message; Send sound code or send a message.
b. Remote Lock; Lock your gadget device
c. Remote Wipe: to delete important data in your gadget
d. And there is the facility to send email to you when the iPad was found (justcheck on checklist).
