How to Change Android SMS Tone with mp3

Have you ever feel bored with default android sms ringtone. But when you want to change the ringtone messages with your favorite ringtones, you can't do it. For Rooted Android:
How to change android sms tone: copy your mp3 or wav file to folder system/media/audio/ringtones

How to change alarm tone android: copy to folder system/media/audio/alarms

For Android device has not been root:

1. Make new folder and rename as media in SDcard
2. Make new folder and rename as audio in that 'media' folder.
3. Then, in folder 'media' make 3 new folder, give name: alarms, ringtones, and notifications. So, its structure becomes:
   - sdcard/media/audio/alarms ==> alarms tone
   - sdcard/media/audio/ringtones ==> ringtones sound
   - sdcard/media/audio/notifications ==> notification tone
4. After that put your favorite mp3 or sound file ringtone to these folder (can wav or mp3 format)
