Soon, users of iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad can browse internet with Google Chrome, a browser made by Google that so far only available for Android-based mobile plaform.
As reported by Tech Source, Apple is currently testing software code of Chrome browser iOS version which sent by Google. There is still no definite information about time of launch Chrome browser for iOS, but is expected in the near time, possibly in the second quarter of 2012.
If truly launched, Chrome will be a serious Safari competitor, this browser used by Apple's mobile devices. Chrome popularity among desktop computer users exceed other browsers, like Firefox and Safari.
However, Apple is sure that his Safari browser would still be used by users of the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. Third-party applications like Google Chrome is not allowed to be default program to open a document or link in iOS. A result, when opening an Internet link, application will be active is Safari, not the other browser.
Similar way was ever done by Microsoft at the end of the decade 1990s with bundles Internet Explorer (IE) as the default Windows browser. It affected to main rival of IE at the time, Netscape Navigator.
