Google officially announced the project a smart glasses that carry the Augmented Reality (AR). The project is named glass project, that's google describes this project and you can see in g.co/projectglass.
In his official google video gives an overview of glasses that are used in the life of reality, google showed these glasses can take pictures, send messages and make video call like a smartphone. Even the glasses can show our location which shown in the glasses via google map.
